As you navigate through, you will see that in all our events, our prime objective is to Ride & Have Fun. Whether it’s a ride for charity like our Annual Christmas Toy Run, or our Hari Raya Ride; our community service assistance rides, our Annual Rock to Rock Ride or our Monthly Members Rides, we not only help those less fortunate than ourselves but at the same time have a great time and enjoy the camaraderie of sharing our passion of owning a Harley with others of similar passion.
Not only do we have regular rides and events each month both in Singapore and in Malaysia, but for those who are new to riding a big bike or perhaps haven’t ridden for many years, from time to time we conduct a New Rider Training Course which comprises both theory and practical aspects, with special emphasis on group riding.
Also, if you are an experienced rider and interested in becoming a Marshal, we also conduct regular courses for this too with again, theory and practical sessions. Once a rider has qualified, he is encouraged to take a course at the Red Cross on First Aid. Already a number of our current Marshals have qualified as First Aiders.
If any of you have any suggestions for future rides or events please let us know and we will see if we can include them.
From the safety point of view I'm very pleased to advise that the general riding skills in our group riding has improved significantly but we must not become complacent and strive to improve even further.
The Members Handbook is now available free of charge to members for the first copy. If you would like additional ones, they cost $5.00 each and are available at the Harley-Davidson P&A counter.
Ride safe.
