This website has been a labour of love that has been spanned over several committee terms now, and I myself have been involved with this for my now 2nd term. And it is no less than an immense joy to see our (literally) years of effort come to fruition, and now have a spot on cyberspace where we can now really call our own.
Being a part of the HOG community has been a phenomenal experience for me, and I’m sure for many of you fellow members as well. So if you have any interesting ride experiences, or things that you think may be of interest to other hog members, please, feel free to drop me a line, and I’d be happy to feature it here on the website, or on the newsletter.
Here are some examples of what we would like to have featured in our newsletters:
1. New member’s introduction – hog members are all a friendly bunch a chaps, and we’ll all want to give a big warm welcome to all our new members. If you are new, please let me know who you are, and I’d like to feature you with a short introduction in our newsletter.
2. Riding experiences – if you’ve done a ride that has some noteworthy experiences, such as finding a new lunch spot in Mersing that has great food, or went on a bike trip up into some exotic destination, your fellow hog member would like to read about it!
3. Good Byes– if you are a expat in Singapore, but are relocating either back home or to another posting, and would like to give a shout out to the rest of the members to say goodbye, just let me know, and I’d be happy to make it happen for you.
4. Reviews – of anything Harley Davidson related. Love your new Harley? Then shout out about it and tell us how phenomenal you think it is.
You don’t need to put together a full text if you don’t want to, and there really isn’t much to it. All I need, is a few bits of information and a photo or two if available. So all you really need to do is email me, and I’ll walk you through the rest.
